The effectiveness of the Tolpa blackhead mask is due to the combination of Tolpa mud, activated charcoal and white clay, which together act like a magnet for excess sebum and impurities accumulated on the skin's surface during the day 💪. This translates into a good action on blackheads, especially on the nose. However, it is worth noting that the Tolpa mask is only available in a small tube and the price is quite high compared to the quantity of the cosmetic 😓. Our testers praised the smoothing and mattifying of the skin and the short time required for action 🙂 . It cleanses pores quite well and works on blackheads. In addition, the mask has a pleasant, delicate fragrance with notes of figs, which is a nice addition to the skincare routine. The Nuxe blackhead mask is unfortunately not free of flaws. The composition is quite synthetic, plus there are quite a few perfuming substances in it, which can be irritating 🧪. There were also isolated cases of a tightened skin feeling 🤨. Our testers were satisfied with the results provided by the Nuxe mask, but we expected more from such an established brand 🤔, so Nuxe Insta-Masque had to settle for last place on the podium.

Bielenda Carbo Detox is a purifying charcoal mask for blackheads with a detoxifying action that focuses on improving the condition of the skin, especially combination and oily skin 👍. Based on activated charcoal, the formula effectively cleanses the skin, refreshes and has an anti-acne effect while reducing sebum levels 🙂 . Unfortunately, as far as the pore tightening effect is concerned, it is too mild according to our testers. Although the benefits are promising, it is worth noting a few aspects that our testers did not like. The reduction in skin shine after using the mask is quite short-lived ⌛. Additionally, the formulation of the product, contains alcohol and PEG, ingredients that are not good for the skin and can be drying 🧪. A dry skin effect was reported by some testers, as was a texture that is too thick and makes application difficult 👎. If problems with imperfections and blackheads are minor, the Bielenda Carbo Detox mask can be a nice, cheap solution, but it won't cope with more serious skin problems 😓.
