Ranking of cosmetics for dry lips - the best cosmetics for dry lips

Dry lips are a problem that occurs especially in winter and during the hottest weeks of summer. This is when lips become chapped, and it is a good idea to rely on good cosmetics for dry lips. Lip balm is an indispensable product in these situations, providing moisture and protection for the delicate lip skin. Especially when cold temperatures, wind and dry air can cause chapped and cracked lips, it is worth having a quality balm on hand. A well-chosen cosmetic softens the skin and prevents drying and moisture loss. In our ranking, we focus on lip balms that contain natural ingredients and do not irritate sensitive lip skin. It is also important that the consistency of the balm is right, so that it spreads easily and does not leave a greasy film on the lips. We have put together a list of the best cosmetics for dry lips for you, where you can find test results of the most popular products on the market.

Nuxe Reve de Miel is a lip balm that is recommended for dry lips. According to our testers, it nourishes and moisturises the lip skin well. Thanks to natural ingredients such as honey, propolis, oils and vitamin E 🌿 the condition of the lips is improved. Testers noted that the balm regenerates dry and cracked lips, providing relief and nourishment. The composition, which contains many beneficial substances for the delicate skin of the lips 😊, was also positive. However, this is not a product without flaws, the most commonly reported downside being the thick consistency of the Nuxe Reve de Miel balm 👎. This often creates an unsightly layer on the lips, making it difficult to apply lipstick 😞. Testers also pointed out the unusual taste and high price 💰. For this reason, the Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm comes second in our ranking today.

Disadvantages

La Roche-Posay Nutritic is a balm for dry lips that is the only one in the range to come in stick form. According to our testers, Nutritic balm nourishes and moisturises lips well, focusing on the most important needs of dry lips 😊. Thanks to the presence of biolipids and ceramides, the balm actively regenerates lips, smooths their surface and provides immediate comfort and resilience. Testers appreciated the balm's action against the symptoms of dry lips, eliminating tension, cracking and brittleness, while moisturising and soothing the skin 👍. The light texture absorbs quickly and the balm is hypoallergenic. Unfortunately, some pointed out the rather high price of the product, the presence of comedogenic myristyl myristate 🧪 and myristyl alcohol, which can be irritating. A small proportion of testers developed pimples around their lips, which is probably due to the comedogenic 😬 effect. In addition, the capacity of the stick is small. Nevertheless, La Roche-Posay Nutritic is a good cosmetic for dry lips, although the items above were, in our group's opinion, definitely better.

Benefits

La Roche-Posay Nutritic, balsam do suchych ust

  • pleasant fragrance
  • contains natural ingredients
  • good consistency
  • rapid moisturising effect on the lips

Disadvantages

La Roche-Posay Nutritic, balsam do suchych ust

  • small volume of the stick

Tisane lip balm has gained wide popularity. Closed in a jar, the balm has a honey flavour and vanilla scent that our testers liked. It contains herbal ingredients that slightly moisturise, smooth and protect the lips. It is particularly recommended for the daily care of lips prone to cracking, dryness and damage, as well as for regeneration e.g. after illness 😊. Tisane balm is reasonably priced, but there is very little of it in the pack (less than 5 grams). Unfortunately, according to our testers, the moisturisation is short-lived, resulting in the product being used up quickly. It is worth noting that Tisane lotion contains a highly comedogenic ingredient, isopropyl myristate 🧪, which can cause eczema 😬. Despite this, Tisane balm is an attractive option for those interested in a budget cosmetic for dry lips, but be careful with sensitive skin prone to irritation and eczema.

Benefits

Herba Studio, Tisane, lip balm

  • nical cena
  • availability
  • good performance

Disadvantages

Herba Studio, Tisane, lip balm

  • highly comedogenic isopropyl myristate in the formulation
  • characteristic odour and taste
  • short-term hydration
  • low volume packaging

FaceBoom, lip balm

FaceBoom lip balm is promoted as an intensely moisturising, vegan beauty product with a natural formula to support dry lips 👍. Vegetable oils such as babassu oil and raspberry seed oil are said to soften and smooth chapped lips, while avocado oil is mainly responsible for moisturising. Calamine soothes irritation and vegetable glycol keeps the active ingredients on the lips. Unfortunately, our testers were not enchanted by the effects of the FaceBoom balm. We found the moisturising to be poor and the consistency of the balm is a little too runny 😬. The balm often runs off the lip contour and is quickly gone 😓. Despite the presence of natural ingredients, the cosmetic formula is long-wearing and contains several fragrances 🧪. FaceBoom lip balm is not a bad cosmetic for dry lips, but it does not cope with severely dry lips. On the same price shelf, you can find better alternatives that are definitely more effective.

Benefits

FaceBoom, lip balm

  • good performance
  • pleasant fragrance
  • natural substances in the composition

Disadvantages

FaceBoom, lip balm

  • runs off the lip contour
  • disappears quickly from the lips
  • excessive fragrances
  • consistency too thin
  • poor hydration
