Belissa Intense is a popular product of the well-known pharmaceutical company Aflofarm. However, it is not a drug, but a dietary supplement that can be taken without consulting a doctor 👌. As part of the tests for the ranking, our testers took the preparation for several weeks. The effects of use were visible, but not spectacular. Due to the lack of standardisation, horsetail extract probably does not fully fulfil its role in strengthening hair and skin 😓. The high content of vitamin A and biotin in the composition should be praised, but many other ingredients appear in symbolic amounts 😏. In general, however, it is not bad, although there are better preparations with horsetail.

In case of deficiencies, biotin effectively strengthens and nourishes the hair 💪. The zinc and selenium content also has a positive effect, but it is worth paying attention to the details – Maxi Silicon contains a large dose of silica and horsetail extract, which is properly standardised. Horsetail is responsible for improving the condition of hair. On the other hand, the content of the other ingredients is small. When taking 1 tablet a day, most of them are only 25% of the daily requirement. On the positive side, the price is low 💰, but if you are looking for high effectiveness, it is better to bet on a supplement with a more valuable composition 🤔

Sprzypovita is one of the most popular horsetail supplements in Poland, which is widely advertised and recognisable. Does popularity go hand in hand with effectiveness? 🤔 Our testers tested it for several weeks of use according to the manufacturer's recommendations. The effects were visible, but unfortunately quite average. This is probably due to the not very refined recipe 🤨. The manufacturer does not specify the standardisation of the extracts and contains p-aminobenzoic acid. This ingredient has no proven effect on hair and nails. The vitamins contained, on the other hand, are in too low doses. Therefore, it is not a supplement whose popularity is adequate to its effectiveness 😞

These are often preparations with a good content of individual substances. This time, however, our testers were not completely satisfied. The Swanson Horsetail supplement is a very simple recipe. It contains 500 mg of horsetail extract. And that's it, we won't find any other vitamins, neither zinc nor biotin 👎 It wouldn't be so bad if the manufacturer provided standardisation, but unfortunately this information is missing from the packaging. The effectiveness is quite poor, so we recommend reaching for supplements with more refined recipes 🤔.
