Blush ranking – the best blushes of 2023

Blush is a cosmetic that is designed to emphasise the strengths of the face, enhance the effect of make-up and give the face a healthy look. Cosmetics of this type come in many forms - blush sticks, classic powder or fluid. You will find many variants in chemist’s and stores. When making a choice, it is worth paying attention to the shade, which should not be too intense, as it will look artificial. On the other hand, too delicate one will not produce the right effect on the cheeks. It is also worth paying attention to the composition and choosing a product that, in addition to the visual effect, additionally supports the condition of the skin. We've tested popular roses in different forms, so you can quickly find the best beauty product for your needs.

Aggie is a brand of cosmetics that have been developed with mature skin care in mind. Their compositions have been composed with particular attention to the needs of 50+ skin, but they also naturally work effectively on younger skin 😉. The Aggie blush stick, like other cosmetics of the brand, stands out for its natural composition, which, in addition to its visual effects, also has a nourishing effect, thanks to extracts and oils of plant origin 🌿. The recipe includes shea butter, candelilla wax and castor oil. A group of testers were very satisfied with the effect of the Aggie blush. Thanks to its optimal consistency, it can be applied precisely and achieve a natural, healthy look. The cosmetic also does not leave a greasy layer, and its pigmentation cannot be faulted 😍. All this makes the Aggie blush stick win today's ranking by daylight ❤️.

The well-known French brand Bourjois specialises in make-up products. Little Round Pot is a blush that is very popular, so it couldn't be missing from our tests. Testers praised it primarily for its striking colour. The tested variant 34 Rose d'Or creates an intense visual effect on the skin 😊. It doesn't work very well for subtle make-up, we don't treat it as a disadvantage, but it's worth taking into account when making a purchase decision. The durability of the cosmetic is commendable. The main downside that emerged during testing was that it was too hard. This means that blush doesn't work with soft brushes – it's too hard to pick it up 😞.

  • pretty, intense pink

Disadvantages

Bourjois, Little Round Pot, blush

Creamy Blush Stick is a blush stick from Golden Rose. The colour variant 102 we tested appealed to our testers because of its nice, natural visual effect. The shade contains iridescent particles, of which there are a lot. For some, this may be a disadvantage, but in the case of evening make-up, it can be turned into an asset ✨. Unfortunately, the Golden Rose stick does not contain any moisturising or skin-promoting substances, but when it comes to make-up – it works quite well 🙂.

Benefits

Golden Rose, Creamy Blush Stick, blush in a stick

  • natural effect
  • nice shade
  • good performance

Disadvantages

Golden Rose, Creamy Blush Stick, blush in a stick

  • medium durability
  • for some – too many particles
  • the stick scratches easily

Milani, Baked Blush, blush

Durability 6.5
Application 7.7
Composition 7.5
Average Rating: 3.77, 624 votes

Editorial Text:

Milani is a beauty brand that positions itself as "exclusive at chemist’s prices". Is this really the case? Our testers tested the Milani blush on the example of Baked Blush in the shade Dolce Pink. Testers praised the nice colour and its pigmentation, as well as easy application. The cosmetic allows you to achieve a warm, optical effect 🙂. The downside is that it is quite durable, Milani blush is not a product that will provide a lasting effect for many hours. The packaging leaves a lot to be desired, is made of too delicate material and is quite easily damaged 👎. Aside from the above drawbacks, Milani Baked Blush is a pretty good pink, but there are more interesting proposals available in this price range 🤔.

Benefits

Milani, Baked Blush, blush

  • good pigmentation
  • convenient application
  • nice effect of slightly illuminated, blushing skin

Disadvantages

Milani, Baked Blush, blush

  • high price
  • poor accessibility
  • can clog with prolonged use

Milk Makeup, Lip + Cheek Stick, blush stick

Efficiency 7.1
Durability 7.2
Application 6
Composition 7.3
Average Rating: 3.53, 436 votes

Lip + Cheek Stick by Milk Makeup is another cosmetic stick we have tested. Our testers tested the Werk variant, i.e. dusty pink. As the name suggests, the stick can be used for both cheeks and lips. It works well in both of these places, and the addition of moisturising ingredients is especially appreciated by dry lips 😉. The shade is pretty, with a slight hint of peach. The formula is quite greasy and requires some practice during application, as it is quite easy to make unsightly spots on the face. The durability could also be higher. It's not bad, but with such a high price, we expected more 😬.

Benefits

Milk Makeup, Lip + Cheek Stick, blush stick

  • nice shade
  • illuminates despite the lack of particles
  • contains moisturizing ingredients

Disadvantages

Milk Makeup, Lip + Cheek Stick, blush stick

  • medium durability
  • quite oily formula
  • easy to make stains
  • high price
