The Hair Ballance cosmetics line by Onlybio is designed for the care of curly hair with PEH balance in mind. Onlybio is very popular, so the protein supplement had to go to our testers, who checked how it works in practice 👩🔬. The formula of the conditioner contains, among others, hydrolysed wheat proteins, arginine, serine and threonine, thanks to which it supports hair lacking volume and vitality. It is also suitable for OMO care. Unfortunately, the protein conditioner causes dryness and brittle hair in some cases, which is probably due to the presence of alcohol in the composition 😓. The performance also leaves a bit to be desired. In the case of owners of long hair, the cosmetic runs out quickly. Despite these drawbacks, it is a pretty good proposition, although the leader of the ranking was not threatened in any way 🙂.

The conditioner contains proprietary microPROtec and flexPROtec formulas, thanks to which it provides the hair with a number of proteins 👩🏻. Dealsenses Rich Repair Conditioner supports the regeneration of damaged hair and adds vitality. Most of the testers noticed an improvement in the condition of their hair. However, there have been cases of negative effects in the form of weighing and sagging hair 🤔. This effect appeared despite the initial, positive reactions of the strands to the cosmetic. The composition of the Goldwell conditioner contains a lot of protein, but on the other hand, it contains alcohol and several fragrances 🧪. Despite the good performance, we expected a better formula at this price.

Anwen is a brand that is popular among hair lovers. Its offer includes both single cosmetics and PEH care sets, as well as variants designed for hair with different degrees of porosity 👍. Protein Orchid, as its name suggests, provides hair with proteins, although it does not contain orchid extract xd. In the formula, however, we can find hydrolysed pea protein, keratin and collagen, which nourish the hair without vigour 🌿. However, their effect is superficial, because the particles are too large to penetrate the scalp, and there could be a bit more proteins in the composition. Unfortunately, there is alcohol and as many as seven fragrances in the formula... 😬 Testers also reported greasy hair and low performance. For these reasons, Anwen’s Protein Orchid has to settle for fourth place 🤔.

Although Isana, known from the Rossmann chain, does not offer a supplement with proteins in its name, the Silky Gloss conditioner with its action and active ingredients fits into the world of protein supplements. In the formula we can find hydrolysed wheat protein, as well as glycerin and magnolia and lotus flower extracts 👍. Unfortunately, they are accompanied by alcohol and preservatives 🧪. The action of Isana Silky Gloss is delicate, it is not a cosmetic that can cope with severely weakened hair. The effects are OK, although of course they are significantly inferior to products with more advanced formulas. However, the value for money is very good. If you need the gentle action of proteins, then you can give Isana a chance 🙂.
